Siberian Elm Dining Chair
This dining chair was donated to an auction benefitting AIGA Colorado and the Denver Art Museum’s Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics. Each piece of the back, seat and legs were designed to use the same radius of curvature providing movement and lending lightness to its solid stance. The back and seat are from a local, Siberian Elm we milled and dried years ago. Cut from a single slab to maintain a continuous grain, the wood figure complements the the steel curves bringing balance to the final form.
