Bars, host stands, conference tables, reception counters, retail fixtures, and restaurant installations across Colorado. We collaborate with designers, architects, and business owners from concept through delivery.
Local, urban, kiln-dried wood slabs in dozens of species — walnut, elm, ash, oak, maple, and more. Milling services up to 60" wide. Open to the public and trade by appointment at our Denver showroom.
Everything Under One Roof — and Most of It Starts as a Tree
Where Wood Meets Steel is different from most custom furniture makers for a simple reason: we control every stage of the process. Our sawmill, drying kilns, wood shop, and metal fabrication are all on site at our workshop in Denver's Globeville neighborhood.
A significant portion of our wood comes from local urban trees — elms, ashes, oaks, and more removed from yards, parks, and development sites across the Denver metro. We rescue them, mill them ourselves, kiln-dry them on site, and build them into pieces that carry the story of where they came from.
The result is furniture that's genuinely one of a kind — in design, in material, and in character.

Our showroom and workshop are located just north of downtown in Denver's Globeville neighborhood.
We're open Monday through Friday, 9–12:30 and 1–5, by appointment only.
